2.2L Spark/Coil Cover

Ok, Just got an email from Jim Wright of RK Sport about making a new cover for the sparkplugs and coils. He said to get a feeler for this and well, of course I bring it to you, the people. What he purpose was a FiberGlass cover that is fully paintable and customizable. This would run roughly 80 dollars. A carbon fiber version might be able with demand, but the price would be around 200 or more. Simply due to the rising cost of CF.

Let me know if anyone else is interested in it. Prices are not set, just a feeler.

This is just a feeler for development, nothing's been designed. He wants to know if theres a market for it.

The same guys that make the CF bowties make CF covers. I dont remember off hand how much they charged but i think its cheaper than 200. What are the ideas on the changes? I cant see much happening except for like stamping chevy or cobalt or something in it. Otherwise everyone just paints the stock cover.

Why pay $80 for a fiberglass one when you can just take off, mask off and paint the stock one easily?

No offense but its just not practical.

There would be a design like ECOTec 2.2 actually carved in (probly) more than the cheap plastic crap on there. Its just a way to spice up the enigne bay.
