hey guys i just got a 2.4ss and i love the car only thing i wish it had was the front lip of the ss/sc. if i got that would it be a direct install on my bumper. i see a couple of holes in the bumper underneath...but im not sure if its for that..HELP!

 

i believe you would need to make a couple of holes...the 2.4 doesn't have....

u would need to cut the slots in ur bumper, THAN buy the fricken clips that cost just as much if not more than the damn lip..... either way good luck

 

some 2.4s have the holes who knows why,I have them, but I'll see another 2.4 and it does not

 

joey has a ss/sc .................. not a 2.4

haha. i was readin on some threads people havin a couple of holes in the bumper and it not workin..figured i put it up paul. thanks paul! hahaha. only thing i wonder how much just the front lip is from GM..then i gotta get it painted.

 

you need to make slots along the bottom of the bumper like 3 inchs up from the bottom. i jsut got the ss/sc bumper and lip

 

ah that kinda sucks. that u have to cut into the bumper. where u get the front lip from. im lookin just to do the front lip not the rear. i like the rear of the 2.4ss. got pics?

 

why not just buy a SS/SC front bumper? It'll probably end up being cheaper.

 

i bought my lip from kenny and donna. its donna's old lip :P already painted black



cant see the slots but there right below the foglights. and go all along the bumper.

i wanna say there 2 inchs long and like 1-2 cm wide.

that mike or there dumb at the factory or dealer and jsut put the wrong bumper on i believe your the only one with this. why dont you get the lip?

dealer must be stupid...:P i dont see why they would put that bumper on without the lip as the slots stick out like a redheaded step child in a crowd of omish people...

I stand corrected,I have the same size slots but almost underneath the bumper

 

i wud want a new bumper with the lip on it painted..or if i can find a really good painted one..ill swap it asap!

 

on the 2.4 there are some holes already....but there are none at the ends....you would need to put the holes there yourself...i already looked into....it would be about $500 to $600 for the front lip of the SS/SC

 

they must tell everyone how annoying im asking kenny questions everyday... roffle and better not step on it. ive worked hard for that lip!

When i return home sometime ill take pics of hte slots maybe your bumper is designed for a G5 lip that will come out??? who knows lol just mine stands out really bad without the lip on it.
