Think of either getting my car 2 toned or painted my racing stripes on. a local guy is going to do the work for me, he says either $300 to paint the stripes or ~$450 to 2 tone it. if i was to 2 tone, i would put black on the top half of the car and red on the bottom half. any comments?

there is another member on here that has that exact 2-tone color scheme that you are thinking of, black on red. i can't remember what his name is tho. the car is dope tho...real nice.

 

CTCobaltSS and another guy have red two-tone SS/SCs, so not really.

But even so, two tone def looks better IMO.

there are tons of cars on the road that have racing stripes on them, and quite a few cars are sold off the lots with factory stripes on them (hell sum of the 08 cobalts come with a racing stripe package that you can order). and lets be honest, in one week, how many cars do you see on the road that are two tone vs. cars with racing stripes?
