My question involves the colors for 2007 Cobalt SS/SC. GM Canada lists the available colors as black, sunburst orange, rally yello, red, laser blue, etc, etc.. However, I was at the dealer a while back and a salesman was mentioning something about extra colours, available as an additional option? I didn't ask anything about it because at the time I wasn't interested enough. and he didnt know anymore anyways.. But are there extra colours available????????

Also I have seen some SS/SC cobalts in 'Arrival Blue'. Was that just an option in 2005? Or can you still get that through an additional option. Laser blue is the worst blue for a car I have ever come across. Sorry if I offend. but its purple!

Anyway, I am interested in the Cobalt and seriously considering purchasing one. But the colour option list is embarassing. For proof, look no further than Acura. Who has numerous, NICE, soft, colours for cars like RSX.. Give me a nice Gun-metal grey or something GM.. Is that too much to ask ?!

Your out of luck on the Arrival Blue, it was replaced by Laser Blue. The only other color that I know of, that is an extra cost option, is the Sport Tint Coat. Im not sure if thats the exact name, but its a deep red, sort of a cranberry/burgandy color. IMO it looks real nice.

If I recall correctly, while I was at the dealer I saw the window sticker of a similar Cobalt and that color option was somewhere between $200-$300. I'm not positive though, you might want to check the chevy website to make sure.

 

Ive heard around here it was a $500 option to get the sport coat red. Id check with the dealer to make sure.
