is it possible to go to the gxp bumper and head lights and possibly tail and rear bumper on my 2008 ss??

all you need to do is cut the center bar out... then buy a g5 grill and plop it in. My bumpers a cobalt ss bumper, with the bar cut out.

 

Interesting. yeah wouldnt be hard. The seats would be the biggest thing and the tail lights. get a ram air (GTO style) hood. and the center cap off the wheels and steering wheel (solved with replacement stickers). Seats woud definatley be the hardest some kind of replacement cloth for the ss symbol..
but yeah sounds like an interesting conversion.

AceSSBalt is doing the conversion on his SS/SC.

It is possible to put the SS rear lip on the G5 bumper, but you must modify it. It is easier to use the G5GT's rear lip.

 

Rear fenders? do you realize how much work it would be to cut out the quarters and change them over?
