3rd Gen Projector Question?

ok I get my headlights on wed, the 3rd gen pro's without HIDs so my question is. On this set of light will I still have to wire up the halos and leds? Kind of dumb i know but everybody says something different, i thought on this set i dont, only with the HIDs but some say i do, im just confused now

From what I understand, the 3rd gens are plug and play, so you just take out the old headlights, plugs the the wires in, and put the headlights in and your all set.

no no no no... i have the third gens and they are not completely plug and play... you do have to wire the halos and leds.. the only projectors that are completely plug and play are the ccfl's..

its really easy.. silv3r and i both spliced into the small runnin light bulb to wire to halo's and leds.. you'llknow what bulb im talkin bout when you pull your headlights out cuz its the hard to get to bulb in the headlights.. the brown wire goin to that will be your power wire and you can use either one of the other two black wires for the ground.. on the led and halos the wire colors are red and white for power and black is the ground.. its really easy though man.. if you need help when you get em let me know or you can talk to silv3r bout it and he should be able to help you to..

don't buy from k2motor!!! i ordered my set on the 1st of the month, took them 3 weeks to sort out my paypal payment with NO contact and no response to 3 messages, shipped 2 days ago, didn't bother to help out with the delay as far as shipping goes, and with my delivery being changed by ups, i won't get my lights in until the 27th. stay away from k2motor.

the only place to find em right now is ebay that i've found.. and no dont get em from k2motors i got mine from zomkspeed and had them within 4 or 5 days.. cant really remember but it was shipped really fast though.. check out silv3rs thread titled third gen projectors install day and night pics and he has pics of his installed and i got some night pics of mine on there too.. he got his from the same seller on ebay that i did.. as far as hids everyone seems to have there own opinion on which ones to get but seems like the best ones is vision bulbs kit.. they are supportin vendors on this site..

The only thing holding me back from getting those is the fact that the high beams are halogens. It doesn't match. Would be nice if it were dual HID.

no problem man.. when i first put mine in the didnt sit right with the bumper either.. i dont think i had em in right though cuz i pulled em back out (well most of the way out) to adjust em and when i pushed em back in they was sittin perfect.. i think they wasnt in the slots on the bottom that the was suppose to be.. check that and see if they fit any better..
