3rd Gen Projectors Installed! Day/Night Pics!

Ok so I got em installed this weekend. The HID kit I had was a bit tricky to install seeing as the remote turn on for the relay was not plug and play.. in the end I think I used about 12 or 13 crimp-on connectors and a 5-6 pairs of disconnect plugs seeing as my HID kit was meant for a Matrix's headlight plugs and not mine...

It looks good now though, visibility at night is freaking amazing, and I didn't even have to realign the bulbs.

Note that the projectors are plug and play except for the halos and leds, which I grouped together and tapped into the orange sidemarker pos/neg wires.

Also note, these pics were taken fast and without care, it was ******* -10C outside and I was cold as hell...I spent two hours and 5 beers on this project, with numb hands that could barely twist wires together, but I did it!

Also, last note! I know my front licence plate looks like ****, I've been too lazy to get a new one. My last car was a 05 Focus and some dipshit in a Ford Excursion turned left in front of me at a light. I hit his rear wheel so hard his rim cracked in half, and his rear fender caught mine and ripped part of my bumper and my front fender off.. see the blue turn signals?? Those are in my cobalt now, they're the same bulb size and they carry on a memory haha:

Anyways! Here's some daytime pics:

Night Pics (it was even colder at this time.. like -25 with the windchill):

Some VERY fast pics of the cutoff line, I'll post some against a building without **** in the way in a bit:

I wish I didn't have to drive my baby in this ****, but man does the cold temp help her run FAST:

I saw the bolts on the back and I think that's the way it's it gotta be done unfortunately... as I said I didn't need to adjust mine, my cutoff line is nice and straight, and is at a good level. Sorry man =(

Those look good, one question though... All that white stuff one the ground.. What is it? Lol. Just kidding. I can't imagine that kind of cold again. Sunny Florida where it was 82 today is good enough for me.

Very nice. You kept the same plate too i see

Not to sound biased but I bet those halos would look awesome on a black car.

Yea haha, It looks quite weird with such a clean car and then this mangled plate, I get more questions on that than the high-rise spoiler... and black goes with anything on a black balt. Chrome looks ugly on em

This newest pair of projectors is my least favorite, however I like that you went through the trouble to get them installed. Looks good with HIDs.

Off ebay, all the projectors on there as the same as the ones from the vendors, just the warranty is.. well... not really there.

Honestly I ******* hated these lights when I saw them on ebay. Seeing them on your car has pretty much changed my mind. They look a TON better than I thought they were going to. I ordered the older style projectors just last week and some 6k HIDs, I cant wait to get them in. The lights look great man, nice work!

As much as I like the 2nd gen, I had an H1 kit sitting around the house for a few months (no one wanted to buy it off me) or I would have bought em. The 1st/3rd gens take H1 while the 2nd take H7 bulbs.
The only thing I don't like is that light bar.. i mean wth is that?? lol
Also I imagine the ccfl's themselves are hard as hell to replace, and costly too.. cathode tubes die a lot faster than leds.
