The cutoff will look better once I take the time to aim the 4th gens better. One was aimed at the sky and one like 3 feet infront of the car when I first put them on. So I just did a quick reaim. But I need to do it again.

you should get your headlights exchanged.. How long did they take to heat crack like that? Mine took 2 days with halogens in them, got them exchanged. Had the replacement set for a couple weeks now with HID's from the beginning and zero issues.

If you look at some of the first pics he took, he was zooming in on the heat cracks in the head lights. Closer to the top on the pics

Looks good man. Didn't you have problems with one of the lenses cracking before? Did you get a new replacement?

Ive being going back and forth with imv1 or whatever it is on ebay they said "We've sent the issue to our shipping department" So still hoping and waiting for a replacement. Havent left the company feedback yet on ebay either. Passenger side is perfect! But drivers side actually has a few more cracks in it. Odd... Though it still works just fine.

Sorry for the question, but was the H7 HID Kit Plug and Play? I have 4th Gens and I ordered the DDM 5K 35W Slim Kit and it doesnt appear to be Plug and Play. There are 2 Bare Terminals on each Plug that look like they need to be spliced in. I could have sworn that everybody said these were Plug and Play. Thanks!

EDIT: Disregard my previous NOOB question. I just checked out the Install Instructions and realized that the H7 Connector is different than I was thinking. So it is indeed Plug and Play despite my previous idiotic thoughts!

lol its all good yeah it was plug and play.

Anyway the curse of this car continues.... the driver side low beam ballast is failing... add that to the driver side projector that already has stress cracks.... Im not sure whether to laugh at this point or cuss.

I've had HID in my gen 4 from the start and mine have the cracks. I think it's just hit or miss on the production of those lenses- bad processing and/or reprocessed materials during some production runs etc... I can't really complain much because they aren't very expensive to begin with. They would probably cost a lot more if they were using better materials.

I'm just going to deal with them for awhile and slowly turn my old headlights into retros.

Well update with the projectors...

bit annoyed with the seller but I guess I see their point...

They wanted me to ship the other light back. Which means swapping my factory ones back on and putting the stock bulbs and such back on. So I just asked them to send me another light. Then id ship back the old ones. I sent them the pics of the damaged light. They said they wouldnt send a replacement without me sending out the old one. But that if I wanted I could buy a new set put them on then theyd refund me. So bit irritated right now at the extra work or money....
