i was just wondering i put 5% tint on my car do you think if a cop pulls me over the can tow my car for my windows being to dark?

They wont tow it, but you can get a tint ticket, and you go to court, and show that you removed it, or you pay a fine of around 150 dollars. thats how it is in ohio at least.

 

They almost always issue a "fix-it" ticket.

 

in new york you can have anything on the rear windshield and rear side windows. Technically on the front 2 sides you can only have 70%, i have 35% and have talked to many cops, and if they can see you you are fine, but lower then 35% and the visibility of the interior is horribly reduced.

oh and no, they cant tow your car, if its your first offense, thats if you get pulled over by a cop who is bored you will get a fix it ticket, nothing major just rip the front two off, go to court get thew ticket taken away

 

yes you will, just dont drive like a moronr and you wont get a ticket or pulled over, ive never had a single problem with tinted cars

I've got 20 and I don't think theres any problems seeing at night. Maybe because both my cars have it and I don't pay attention when I'm in other peoples cars?
