Yeah, If I ever get my GEN 4, I'm going to switch to 6k.

8k is to overrated by me. I've had the same bulbs to where it seems like forever.

i think it makes a difference if this is going in stock housing or projector housing... i know my 4300k look really blue for the chart calling them crystal white, but i have them in a projector housing...

It really depends on how you view them.

From the top of a proector, the light output will be more on the blue side.

But if you look at the projector dead straight in the middle, you will be able to see the true kelvin color of the bulb.

You can see, just not as well, as if you had 4,300.

Get what ever you want. What? You want opinions from everybody else but your self?

Get what ever you want or what ever kelvin color you prefer and be happy with it.

Who cares about any one else's opinion but yours?

People will tell you the same thing over & over again about the difference.

It's not our problem that you can't figure out which "bulb" to get.
The whole reason of my post was to get opinions, why the hell do you think it was made. This forum was made to help out other cobalt owners. I don't know a ton about hid's, I know many use them so I asked for their opinion. That's how it works, don't like it then stay out of my thread instead of being a *****

Btw I got then from buyhids.com

he's a member here and a vendor
on g5club.net

Anyways, moving on...

Read the sticky to get an idea of how H.I.D.'s work and how they look.

Each company that sells H.I.D.'s may have just a different light output coming from the same kelvin. So you may have two of the same bulbs with the same temperature, but both may look a little different from each other color wise.

But the chart in the sticky should help you a lot. It helped me a couple of years back.
