8000k's are home sweet home

yep i just got em in the mail yesterday, going to attempt to install some autovision/mclloch (or how ever you spell it) 8000k plug and play hid lights. ill post pics along the way so you can see what they look like. p.s. does any one know how hard this is supposed to be? and should i worry about my headlight housing melting thanx

nope not hard at all, takes about 30-40 minutes because i feel the headlight casings are a pain to get out. I would wait till you buy a wiring relay or make one yourself before installing the HID kit. I got 6K and i love it. Hope you enjoy urs

thanx all for info...hey easyasone23, not sure if i understand what your saying, i got a "plug and play system" hope its not garbage!

i would really reccomend retrofitting some projectors in there, the plug and play is quite illegal and will send glare everywhere, i know it's a little more but its worth it in the long run. im saving for a bi-xenon kit with hella e55 projectors, so you can have hi and low beam headlights.

I would put a wiring harness relay(wire the power off the battery instead of your stock harness) Because of your HID warm up. So later on your car doesnt catch fire, or burn expensive electric stuff in your car

Oddly enough I am retrofitting Bi-xenon e55's into my cobalt already!

how long do those wiring harnesses reach? I'm assuming they were made for a car with the battery under the hood and not in the trunk.

there is a positive post in the front of the car near the fuse box
