Added even MORE downforce to my Hi-Rise Wing!
I figure it should add about another 10 lbs. of downforce to the rear.
Obscures the view out the back a bit, but heh! Can't see anything anyway because of the hi-rise wing.
So, what do you think?

Well, the 4 straps that secure the rack to the car have rubber tipped ends on them, and the 2 points on the rack that come into contact with the car have 2 large foam rubber pads on each piece.
As for the bike itself, I locate it at the upper end of the rack. It's a good 8-10 inches away from the body of the car, and is secured to the rack very tightly so that neither the frame nor the front wheel moves around.
I used it on my SRT-4 with no problem, so I should be good to go!
It's a hybrid Giant Option model (very similar to the Cypress model pictured below).

21 Speed, shocks for front fork and seat, moly tubing. Cost me like $300 new at a bike shop about 4 years ago.
I love it!

It doesn't even touch the wing.
Very nice frank, I think I have the same bike rack in my basement. Did you go to the lock 7 bike path? I'm too lazy to hook the rack up to my car so I usually just ride my bike to the bike path and then back home, lol.

For daily riding, I usually just ride from my home up into the hills of Rotterdam (only about 8 miles, but a vigorous 8 miles).
Yesterday I went with a group of people on the bike path starting in Niskayuna at Lyons Park. We went as far as Knowles Atomic Power Labs until a storm came up, and we high tailed it back just as it started to pour out (got in about 12 miles).
**Edit** I just thought about it again, and yes, the top of the rack presses slightly against the underside of the wing. But there's no real amount of pressure there, and I put a towel in between that area so that it doesn't rub on the wing.
If someone really wanted to take it, I guess they could loosen up the straps (leaving them attached to the car) and then take the body of the rack itself.
But we're not talking about something that has the interest/value of an ipod.
