Adding fog lights

I have an LS that did not come with fog lights. However I have replaced the front bumper with an SS that does have spots for fogs. I have gotten the housings and now wondering how to wire to go about wiring the lights themselves. The other day when i was messing with my cluster I noticed that I have the wiring harness for the fog light switch behind the dash. I was wondering if anyone could tell me where this possible goes on the outside of the car to try and be able to just get an ss harness out of the salvage yard and possibly plug it into mine. All help is appreciated. Thanks

unless you get the ss dash panel piece and the button to wire it up to (which I have no idea how simple or difficult it would be to do)... I'd say just wire it to a simple toggle switch or push button that you can get at any auto parts store and call it a day. If you really need to know if the fogs are on or off (besides looking in front of you or seeing the switch is up) get a switch or button with the LED indicator on it.

The inside wiring would be easy. I would just have to get a oem fog button and drill a hole into the dash trim and plug it into the harness that is already there. Where that harness goes is what I want to know. This way it will look and function like oem and won't have to add circuits to the fuse box.

I went to the local library and checked out the chilton manual for the car and from the looks of the wiring schematic it looks as if the orange wire from the fog light switch harness goes to the BCM. From there a yellow runs to the fuse box under the hood that controls the fog lamp relay. The relay then has two purple wires that goes from the fuse box to the fog lamps. If I take the fuse box apart and trace these purple wires I may be able to find a harness. At the least I should be able to splice into these wires and connect them to the positive side of the bulbs. By doing this I could still use a stock switch and make use to the stock electrical circuit.

Okay sooo in stead of making a new thread. I got a 2.4 fascia and I plan on doing fogs. Is the harness there already. I looked under the hood and there is a fuse in the fog lamp spot so to me it looks like they have everything in place just not connected to anything. If i get fogs, trim and button could I just hook it up?
