Question Adding Foggies to your LS

Well, I've got the installation down to the last two steps, and I'd appreciate some help here.

1. I need to wire the switch box into the parking lamps and can't find a place to do that.
2. Whats the best way to bring the cable for the switch through the firewall, hopefully with out cutting a hole.

I've documented the entire process so far, so once I wrap it up I'll be able to post a how to for all my fellow base model drivers out there!

Somewhere on the firewall there's a spot where the wiring harness goes through. Always room for a couple more wires there.

well, getting through the firewall isn't so much an issue as much as it is an incovenience, the real trouble is fiding a way to wire the fog light control switch box into the parking lamps, the little bugger won't work with out it, i guess its a built in safeguard so you don't leave them on to drain the batt.

Help!

I guess that's one way to prevent the site name from being edited.

If you could find a wiring diagra that would show you which wire it was you could tap into it. WopOnTour could probably help, if I'm not mistaken he is a GM Shop Tech.

Excellent, thanks for the nod in the right direction. I'll be building a tutorial once I get it right.
