im thinking gold to be honest but bronze is legit
last summer i attempted to paint my rims black the first coat came out sooooo good then it started to rain and i moved into my garage that had really low light and the paint started to run and instead of using paint remover i got a grinder and grinded all the paint off the entire rim and it was taking so long that i said f it and drove around with a shiny ass stock rim for like 3 months lol
i wish i could get someone to do it for me
but anyways

what exact paint is that on your trim? i want to do mine exactly the same
did you sand the pieces before you painted and prime them or just paint?

 

Just painted, didnt sand them. paint was krylon gloss black, from wal-mart

but you know whats weird when i first got my balt i didnt really know alot about them but one day some kid was like oh you have the tc grill (i happened to be doing my oil change at the body shop and like 3 ss's and a lt roll up) but yea i came to find that the 05 ss came with the slotted one like yours and i was at the dealership a couple months ago getting my esu recall done and he was naming the recalls on it and he was like "ok the grill recall was done" but the thing is ive never seen another 05 ss or 06 or 07 for that matter with the tc grill
anyone have any idea about why that is or why it was recalled?
