Aftermarket steering wheel help needed

So I'm about to my wheel swap and I have my sparco hub, nrg quick release and my nardi wheel. I think I've figured out a way to get the horn to work as well. But now I've been told that the sparco hub I bought will not work even thou when I called sparco they said that this is the hub for my car. Apparently there is a key way that the hub doesn't have? The hub is sparco 01502099. Anyone know what I should do ? I don't want to tear apart my wheel to find out I have to put the stock wheel back on.

there is a master (thick) spline at 12 oclock on the cobalt column. If you sparco hub is completely fine spline it wont fit. Momo do a hub that fits a cobalt afaik. the steering wheel controls require wiring expertise unless u can give up that feature ( did you go to the JRP midnite madness sale or something?)

if you take strg wheel off and the clock spring for the airbag is moved bad things happen. I would suggest professional help.

I make a custom hub that puts the steering wheel between one and three inches closer than stock depending what you wish. Costs 300 dollars

My brother was asking you about it when he was at your shop while you were doing manpons rear bar install. I'll have to double check the hub. But I can bring it by for you to take a look tomorrow if your free?
I don't care about the cruise control or the radio functions on the wheel and mines an 06 so the DIC controls are on the dash so I'm fine with that. Jpun told me you have a hub for 275 that fits ?

I had a question about this to. Does NRG short hub part number srk-170h fit the cobalt. On the sight it claims to fit the neon and NRG said it would fit the cobalt as well.
