Aftermarket Sunroof?
Hey guys, so some of you know by now that im in the market looking for a cobalt ss/tc, and i've recently come across one that looks great, has low miles, and is priced at an unbeatable price. The only thing is though it doesn't have a sunroof, hahaha
You have no idea how disappointed i am with this cause that was like the one thing i wanted to have for my next car lol.
So i was wondering, has anyone gotten an aftermarket sunroof before? If i were to take it to a Chevy/GM dealer do you think they could install one with the cobalt ss parts?
Thanks guys

hmmm okay, cause i read on a couple of other forums that said it would be around a 1000 bucks, but they just said they took it to like a body shop or whatever that did it, and i also read that alot of people that do this get leaks =/ fml

I do them here at my dealership for about $1000-$1200, we use a local company that kicks ass, they do sunroof/leather/remote start/DVD/Nav ect.
Works well when someone wants leather and rear dvd in a base model vehicle or something like that so they dont have to pay for a higher package with stuff they dont want. I would find a place that installs them, with warranty, we have never had an issue with the place we use.

my buddy bought his 350z with an aftermarket sunroof and it leaks everytime it rains hard. and for 1000-1200 bucks i dont think its worth it. ive had a sunroof in my cars for the last almost 5 years and i really dont use it much. all it does is make a lot of noise lol

nope mine is sunroof free...
basiclly it all comes down to who does it and what they use. u can get a **** job and good roof and leak or get a **** roof and good install and leak too. long term 3rd arty word of mouth is what u want. if some random guy shop whatever does it then dont be surprised **** hits the fan later
