So its kinda been an unspoken rule that 99% of stickers on cars are "rice", but today I decided to go against the typical way of thinking and slapped on a "sticker".
I ordered a Cosmo Racing short throw shifter last week and then today it got here. If you have ordered anything from Cosmo Racing you know that they send you a "sticker". Its actually more of a badge like what would come on the car instead of the vinyl sticker. Its got embossed letters and all.
Well I put it on my car. I actually think it looks really cool. The car had been previously debadged by me not long after I got it, but I think this looks pretty cool and I just wanted to show it off.

(Sorry for the **** poor angles, its raining like hell here tonight and I wasnt stepping out of my garage into that just for a picture.)

Yeah it beats the **** out of the stickers other manufacturers send with their products. And I'm loving the short throw! It went in ridiculously easy, no cutting or modding anything to make it fit and it was under $100 shipped to my door!
Yeah.

I went back in and put the reverse lock back on that way I had a better place to secure the shift boot to and to give it a cleaner look. I just kind of wished that the shift knob was a brushed finish instead of a polished finish. Other then that though, Im incredibly pleased.

When I started sanding the knob (damn, that doesn't sound right - let me make it clear I'm not talking about jerking off!
) I was putting a little bit of a spiraling cross-hatch pattern in it with the steel wool. Part of the reason why I ended up keeping it the sanded/brushed appearance was how clean the hatch pattern appeared in the knob before the primer coat. I also thought about doing a plasti-dip effect on it after hatching; I bet I could get a real sweet effect if I vinyl-dipped that hatched knob. Maybe that's my next just-for-*****-and-giggles-project....
Im having to get used to going from the round aftermarket ball that I had to this new one, but its surprisingly comfortable in my hand and is growing on me.
I don't guess they do. It looks like just 2.2 and 2.4. I didn't know there was a huge difference in shifter design between those two models and the 2.0.
Eh, Lambo doors arent really my thing. Body kit, sure, if I had the extra money laying around. But thanks for the suggestions.
