AIT CF spoiler
Ok, so i've currently got the LS/LT spoiler on my SS. I've been searching Ebay for spoilers. A new SS high rise is going to cost me roughly $200, but I found these guys who are selling a partial CF spoiler for about the same price.
05 06 07 08 Chevy Cobalt Carbon Fiber SS Spoiler Wing: eBay Motors (item 300457568048 end time Nov-17-10 12:46:01 PST)
Anybody bought from these guys before? How's their quality? The Ebay reviews seem pretty positive. Clearly it's not top of the line CF, but that seems to be pretty great for the price. Also, if I get one of these, how difficult/is it smart to throw on another clear-coat layer to keep it from yellowing?

Alright, well I guess my next question would be is getting the CF worth the extra $? They sell the standard fiberglass version as well. I can do the painting myself, so after $30-$40 in paint and clearcoat, i'd be looking to spend about the same as I would on the CF wing. So it's all about quality and longevity. Any thoughts?

That's exactly what I wanted to hear. It looks like you did the same yellow paint on the sides that I want to do as well. Ebay is telling me they're great to deal with, so i'm thinking i'll probably go that route. Granted, i'll hang onto my old spoiler to put on during the winter. I'm afraid Illinois winters aren't as temperate as Sante Fe's.

Because he's new.
But to answer his question; the end caps just pop off. From there you slide the original blade out. Then slide CF blade in. Finally reinstall old caps or use the CF caps included.
