I just picked up a free K40 radar detector from my buddy, and this thing is amazing.

The company promises that if you get a ticket, they will either pay for it, or refund you the money for the radar.

Anyway, I have used many cleaning products on my dashboard, and my adhesive won't stick.

Is it alright to use rubbing alcohol to clean the area off in the Cobalt?

The only reason I ask is because my truck that I had before the Cobalt didn't take to well to the alcohol when I had my last radar and paint came off the dash.

ive used alcohol for my garage door opener behind the shifter

 

try that if it dont work go to an autoglass place and ask if u can have on stick of activator for the windows and use that on the dash
