Aligning headlights

How much do you guys think a dealer would charge me to align my projectors? My low beams are really bad, and I dont have the patience in this cold weather to keep popping those things in and out of my car and tweaking for hours

I doubt a dealer would touch them seeing as its aftermarket. Its really not that hard to do. Park about 25 ft. away from a wall and align them to where your comfortable. It'll take awhile but you'll love it.

I dont have a garage door and its like 25 degrees outside. To align the projectors you have to take them out right?

well considering its taken me probably about a total of 2 hours to do mine (2 tweakings taking about an hour each) do you feel like paying at least hundred bucks? maybe more?

its tedious and annoying, but trust me, you dont want to pay labour rates for something your more than capable of doing just cuz its annoying lol.

Last night when i dropped my phone (my only light source) in my engine bay, it was at some point between being under my car in the complete dark and reaching my hand up in between things i have no idea what i was touching that I vowed I really wouldnt do anymore mods in the cold, or dark.

my right one is aiming a way highter after i painted my headlights, i was under the impression that lil piece on the headlight assembly is what you use to go up and down??
my friend did it to his ss and it worked.

Since when do you have to remove the assembly to realign the headlights?
Am I missing something? The car manual shows the instructions on how to adjust them, no disassembly required?

Take the headlights out, find the low beam adjuster screws, right behind the low beams. (lights must be on) and simply tweak them until your happy. Theres really NO WAY to tell you how to aim them until you do it.

Since I have to take them out to replace one of the Halo LED's I guess ill just try to align them as best i can, but they wont be perfect hahaha. My dad is going in for an oil change tomorrow and were getting in pretty good with the SM so hes gonna ask him how much it would cost us to have them aligned good. But otherwise I think im just gonna do it on my own
