I've driven both a 2006 EVO 9 and 2006 WRX STi and I'd pick the EVO 9 hands down just from driving it. When you're talking about big performacne cars (aka sport cars), you shouldn't just judge upon looks.
Also, the EVO 9 just has much more to it than the STi and more options to choose from than the STi package, just makes things more interesting and optional.
By the way, they aren't $40,000 cars...they are $29-32,000 (cheapest you'll find is an EVO RS for about $26-27,000).
Either way, both are great cars.

I asked you a question and even told you I wasn't trying be rude but I was asking if you had driven both cars...then I was giving my experience. And no one is telling you what you should and shouldn't do, I was suggesting that to everyone, not just you, shouldn't judge sport cars just by looks if you're just picking one or the other by that factor alone and haven't driven the vehicle.
Seriously, you're taking things way too seriously and you're way to defensive. I'd hope you're not like this in person or you'd die of high blood pressure. Just calm down, not everyone is here to attack you or tell you what to do. I was being as polite as possible and even in other threads I stuck up for you and don't rag on you like other people do. Just chill.
