i have progress springs.. they ride great, the drop is good.. nothing bad to say here either.. they sit at pretty much exactly the same height as SSC's.. i dont have anything against SSC springs either (just seems more ppl buy them). anything lower than SSC or progress spring drop is pretty much asking for your car to ride like a covered wagon from every experience i have had (with dropzones and sportlines on buddy's cobalts ive ridden in)
so SSC or progress i guess thats your choice to make..

This is good to hear about the snow ppl driven through cause with me living in Ohio I was wondering the same thing. I was wanting to get Progress springs and now I think my decision has become much easier now

30k on FE1 struts with progress springs.. struts still going strong! so you be the judge.. ive seen ppl with over 100k on sportlines n stock struts.. but in reality i suppose it depends on your roads and how you drive your car too.. ss's also have better struts than the base models (FE1).. so they will probably hold up much better

Buy my Pedders. They're a little bit on the pricey side, but they're the best springs to buy for your LNF to improve handling. Lowering just happens to be a benefit of the spring.

No pics handy, but i'm on sportlines. They handle well, but the ride is too stiff for my liking. You'll feel every little crack in the road. If I were to go back in time I'd remove that plastic things from the springs too, because it just retained water and rusted the springs.
I'll be switching to pedders after the winter.

I wanna say thank everyone for their "insight" I ended up purchasing the sportlines! After looking at pictures and reading for days.. I have decided that is the look i'm going for. Ill update pics next week after the install!
