Anyone ever had HIDs do this?

Got my HIDs from 3bspec today. Installed them according to the how-to on the forum. When i turn them on my passenger side only worked. I look at all my wiring and could not figure it out. So i decided to swap ballast sides. Then the driver's side came on fine. Then swapped sides with the bulbs. Passenger side (ballast that never turned on) didn't come on at all with the good bulb in it. Driver's side (ballast that works) would only make the HID bulb flicker once, then turn off. Very strange.. Called 3b and they are sending me a new ballast and bulb. Very nice vendor just wondering if anyone else had a similar issue?

Try changing your fuses to 20s... Get the new ballasts and bulbs too, but change the fuses anyway

Doesn't seem like a fuse issue. But I will try anyway. I'm thinking its the ballasts and or bulb.

it's due to the extra load on the wiring... that is why you need the extra relay!

You just have to turn off the lights and turn them back on that is what I had to do with mine on the old car... haven't hooked them back up yet!

swap fuses for 20's and accept the new ballast/bulb

if the problem keeps happening, maybe completely disconnect everything and start from instruction 1 again

They are talking about the inline fuse going to your positive. If it was the fuse when why will one ballast always come on but the other won't? Kinda strange but ill mess with it again tomorrow a little. What would determine if I absolutely needed a new bulb?

Pretty sure that one bulb is bad. One will turn on fine but when I switch bulb sides one of them won't work on either.

did you happen to touch the bulb with you hand if so the grease from youre hands can ruin it when you fire it up
