Anyone Ever Taken This off?
See, this is an '05 headlight. It has a seperate amber lens that fits into the "cup" of the turn signal.
Here's a pic of my '07. there's no lens covering the turn signal "cup."

07 SS's lost the amber lens and I believe amybe some of the late 2.2's.
Just take the light apart and pull it out. It sounds crazy, but its honestly not that hard. there are two how to's look for painting the headlight and lookn for making clear corners.
I baked mine until the silicon got soft, pryed it apart, took that out (and painted mine) and then switched to sylvania lights which are clear when they are off and glow amber when on

Why would you wanna take that piece off? I think it looks great. Plus, it acts as an exhaust heatshield so you won't char up the paint on your bumper.
Now imagine how fugly and charred my bumper would be if I didn't have that piece......

Its not just an "ARK muffler". Its a full ARK N2 cat-back, and its paired with a CA header and an XTC 2.5" de-cat downpipe. Mods in vBgarage as always kiddo.
