Buy the actual cans of it, not the spray cans. Get a Wagner spray gun and some reducer to thin the dip out.

Seriously guys get on the forums:

DipYourCar.com Plasti DipŽ Community Forum.

You should know by now, same as regular paint, you CAN NOT rattlecan a whole car, its too much area to apply smooth, you have to get the full car kit (WHICH IS 20% OFF ALL WEEKEND!!!!!) with the spray gun and everything.

And for the record, STAY AWAY from gunmetal plastidip, it looks like garbage, literally like primer. If you want the gunmetal look like a guy did on here (red ss/tc) spray the wheels black then use silver metalizer over the black, that looks like an awesome gunmetal.

Wow it took me all of five minutes on that site to confirm your car can look just as good with rattle can as the gallons if you do it right. You just have to know what you're doing either way. Thanks for the link tho.

05 Srt4 whole car and rims, with rattle can.

If I had a spare set of wheels I would dip my wheels and swap them out occasionally. My car is black so I could do anything .

Ive been looking for spare SS/SC wheels, eventually.

An old buddy used to have a 77 Chevy step side truck. We rattle can primered it and I rattle can painted it with that factory paint match paint in a spray can then used rattle can clear coat over it and it looked pretty good. It just takes time and patience and you have to focus on smaller areas. You can't try to do an entire side at once. After that its a little sanding and buffing. Sad thing was a week later he changed his mind on the color and redid it in black primer. If you really want to be amazed at paint jobs done bass ackwards that turn out great check this out! http://rolledon.forummotion.com/

umm... why? That's the whole point of plasti-dip, so you can do the wheels you have on your car, drive around for a while, then, when you want the stock look again - peel it off. Cost me $24 bucks for 5 cans of it at home depot... enough to do all badges, emblems, and 4-5 coats on the wheels.

I'd do matte white... while leaving roof, part of hood, and "evo mod" gloss black. Not sure about the trunk.
