I'm getting some vinyl soon from an online store who will consider making bowtie overlays for the cobalt if I can get him some finished pics and sizes when I am done. What we are both worried about is the edges of the bowtie where it angles. Has anyone done this with vinyl instead of paint and did the angles cause a problem?

i got cf vinyl and wrapped it myself. I'll see if i can take a pic and post it for u. its not hard. but u just have to be careful and start from one side to another. I put the emblem on the cf and figured how much i would need, and cut out a small square. Then i just put it on then pressed it and got rid of air bubbles, and i took a scalpel and just cut where the chrome border is and wah lah! custom cf bow tie. it takes about 20 mins. it took me about 5 but i knew what i was doing.
