I want to start modding my 09 Cobalt SS and thought it would be a good idea to start doing appearance mods first. If you have any idea's, questions, suggestions, opinions, or anything please do not hesitate to leave a comment. Add any idea's that I dont have. This is what I go so far...

- CobaltSS.net and Ptuning side decals
- Stock rim outlining
- Change Interior Trim to a different color (paint)
- Change Boost gauge to an AutoMeter Cobalt Boost Gauge
- Change stock Technometer to different style and color (found on this site - Black Cat Custom Automotive - Cobalt - Cobalt SS Gauge Faces - LED Lighting Kit and with this stye, 2005 & Up Cobalt 120mph C-Style)

- Shift boot
- E-brake boot
- Tint windows
- Change headlights and fog lights to Xenon head lights
- Footwell Blue LED lights
- Possible new pedals
- Possible LED lights in vents

Thats all of the ideas I can think of for now. Please leave any other idea's that yall can think of.

- Turbocharged Emblem on rear
- Remove both bowties
- Change Interior Map light bulbs
- Change trunk light bulb

 

Tinted tails, and painted bowties. diff color SS badges and so on. possibly stainless door sills that say "turbocharged"

 

Oh that reminds me I forgot to put that I am removing both the front and rear bowties. Like how the SS's look. Also I want to get a turbocharged emblem for the rear. Tinted tails sounds really cool so I'll add those too, thanks.

 

I would Add blue led lighting to the trunk -splice into the trunk light, remove the light bulb.
Maybe add a RPD instead of the boost gauge.
Adding a glove box led light and pressure switch is cool and useful too.
White grill and airdam lighting.
Custom grill.

You are going with the 120mph gauge? Not 160 your turbocharged right?
