Arm Rest

Was wondering if anybody knows the part number for the Arm Rest for the Center Console. Need a black one, cause GM decided that they too good to put one in the SS.

It's a nice armrest too, plenty of grip on the top so your elbow doesn't go flying off.

My only complaint is that I can't find a CD case small enough to fit in there. I thought I had a winner with this 97 cent special from Wal-Mart, but alas.

somebody always has to be a jerk...anyway so the Ebony color, part #17800082 would be the one that would go with the SS interior? I notice today all you have to do is pop off the back and replace it with that part. So I'm guessing that the Armrest Package (Center Storage, Includes Cup Holder,Support,Screws) would replace that little piece instead of having to replace the who center console?

Be sure to post up some pics once you get it.
I heard that they took it out because it gets in the way while shifting......

I might be wrong on this but I think the reason the armrest are not in the sticks is because it might interfere with the hand brake. Like I said I might be wrong because i haven't seen the interior in person yet.

It gets in the way on the autos too, but if you have to use the handbrake the arm rest will rotate up. I actually have to raise my armrest every time I put on my seatbelt. Probably due to the spare tire I'm carrying around my waist.
