Hey Everyone....I'm looking to buy a Cobalt SS/SC and I def want the Arrival Blue, but is that the only blue?...because it looks like they came in that laser blue also??

Just wanted to clear some things up so i dont make a big mistake...

 

Yes the SS was available in both Arrival & laser blue

IMO Arrival blue looks better....laser has too much purplish in it for me

 

Depends on what year you buy doesnt it? 07s are only available in Laser.

 

yeah i think 05 was the only year for arrival...but maybe a handful were made in 06

 

only the 05 has the arrival blue. maybe early 06. now it is all laser blue baby FTGDMFW !!!! Go with laser you won't regret it

 

Yes, Arrival is no longer available. It was only offered on 05s and a select few 06's.

If it had come down to that choice for me, I wouldn't have a blue Cobalt. Not a fan of Laser Blue at all. I'd pick either the new sport red or sunburst orange (even though that's gone now too).

yeah the arrival was a true blue and laser(blurple) does have a purple effect to it in certain lighting. we just bought a malibu ss in laser to go with the silver balt and the color is awesome, but it is the wife's car.

 

you haha j/k man. some people love it and others just aren't big fans. ill tell you one thing tho is that i get people asking me about it all the time (+ or-).

GM actually said Laser Blue is the greatest color they ever made..... I'm just saying thats what the were telling every one. lol It also just so happens I have a Laser Blue!

Arrival looks like a normal Blue

Laser Will have everyone looking at your car in a good or bad way, but at least it wont just blend in!

laser seems girly to me....esp when it turns purple. Arrival becomes very bright in the sunlight which seems to catch everyones eye.

And i have to agree if they only offered laser blue i wouldve bought either orange or red

 

i tried for orange but couldnt get one with the g85, funny how every one wanted orange and goes with blue. oh well i couldnt be happier. your gona like any color. . . just as long as it isnt yellow. jk

 

lol i almost ended up getting laser blue, i loved the color but all they had was a laser blue sedan so i said helllllllllllllllll nooooooooo lol
and passed on a manual yellow..damnit lol, i still hate yellow but now i got an auto black..

 

you have to be patient, or go to alot of dealers to get exactly what you want.

 

you can just talk to a dealer and they should be able to find you one. mine came from ohio with 25 miles and no front lisends ( god I hate spelling) plate. most dealerships will be more then happy to help you find what you want

 

They aren't still taking orders for '07s are they?

Arrival blue FTW! Its reminds me of the electric blue used on the C5 corvettes. Plus when I bought mine the dealer only had two, it was a choice between arrival blue or victory red. The red was a show room model with fingerprints everywhere, and the blue was just unloaded off the truck waiting for prep. Though choice,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,not!

 

it reminds me of 9.5 out of 10 03-05 cavaliers
