everyone knows the joy of waiting for a new part ...hell its practically like christmas...
so i had bought some new headlamps from ebay..(stock only black inside)...
all is well with transaction...got my tracking numbers ...yes delivery on friday perfect!

it was all i could think about yesterday...
i was on the phone with chevy dealership inquiring about recall notices for 08's....im included ...though i have had no problems....

the ups man!...the ups man!...(like the ice cream man...only for guys waiting for parts)

he hands me a box...now im geeked...run inside open it up...awesome it looks great...

box...

theres only one!!!!! WTF!!!!

call ups ...lady says yep its still on the truck(the second one)...he might be able to drop it off still tonight...great all is not lost...

call back later ...i let out a sigh as i slowly deflated when she said i was rescheduled for a monday delivery...

so now i will sit here all weekend and look at my one cool head light...

 

that sucks man.

Dudes.. DHL drives fast as hell.. Thats why they Pwn UPS.. they realize people want their ****.. and they are willing to disregard the safety of others on the roads and traffic laws.. all in an attempt to get their client what they want ASAP.

i hate ups, after like 3 weeks of waiting for my parts to come in thye finally arrive, i look outside my door and the guy left a note saying that nobody answered and they will come back monday, i was home all ******* day that guy did not knock on the door. plus i already payed the place shipping that i bought the stuff from, and i owe ups another 60$ on top of that.

 

I had mine both be delayed, the tracking thing said they were coming on my day off and i was so happy and then then didn't. So i called UPS and they told me that they are coming the next day when i have work all night long

 

UPS is horrible... bottom line

Whenever I get **** shipped from UPS.. I specifically tell the vendor I am buying from to waive the need for a signature upon arrival because of exactly what you described.

I guess it depends on where you live too... but in the small ass subdivision I live in, no one is going to mess with **** on your front porch.

Whats worse than UPS is getting **** shipped via USPS.. they are 10 times worse than UPS.

 

I've actually found FedEx to be the worst so far as delivery. They flat out f*ing refuse to leave things. Never had the problem with UPS, but I've met the UPS guy several times before, so that helps I'm sure.

I had to arrange a special meeting with the FedEx guy to get my damned clutch because they kept trying to deliver it at like 2 in the afternoon when nobody is home (did this 3 days straight, despite my pleading notes and phone calls) and wouldn't hold it at the local FedEx store because it was 'oversized'. And the local f*ing warehouse isn't open on weekends, yay!

Dude atleast u got ur **** in a box lol I came home after work nd it said my **** was delivered but wasn't in my house or at my doorstep cuz the fedex man left it in front of my house while I was at work(I work 3pm-1130 btw) nd my dogs got to it nd I have 2 german sheperds and a lab husky
So all in all my mom the next morning found my ttr motor mount nd inserts scattered in da front yard nd no box to be found lol

 

UPS delivers awesome around here.

But their prices are FTL! UPS - $75 bucks to ship a box to Michigan. USPS - $30 with insurance too.

 

Thats stupid. What? They dont have a box big enough for two housings?

 

When I got my projectors I got a big 2ft x 2ft box.
