so i backed out of my garage and hit my uncles land rover the land rover is good but the balt has a small dent on the passenger side of the rear bumper right below the tailight where the bumper curves out.
how can i fix this??

 

take to a body shop?

 

i dont wana spend a bunch of money to have a shop do it unless i totally have to.
any other ideas?

a shop might be able to pull the majority of the dent out but i think you will still see the crease in the middle unfortunately.

You can't use the ding king on plastic.

They would probably bondo, sand, and repaint that.

 

I've used pops-a-dent on my rear bumper and it worked well. It comes with a glue gun that you have to apply to these different round pieces. You then stick it to the dent and let dry for 10 minutes. Once dried you then use a device like the ding king

Yeah cuz it's glue from the glue gun. Doesn't use suction

 

Usually plastic will crack or the paint will be pwnt

Well then you really don't care for your car then. The glue Gun wont pealoff the paint. Unless there's paint chips caused by the dent.

i got a small dent on my hood to so this should work awesome!!

 

Heat up the area with a heat gun. Get a wet towel. Then re shape the plastic in that area. Thats how we do it at work. Get it 95 % of the way out then bondo / prime / paint to fix the rest. But you can get it 95% out with a heat gun and a little pressure.

 

I had a dent in my passenger door, a dent in my driver's side rear quarter panel, and the driver's door was dented in.

My dealership fixed it all for $85 flat.

Call them and take it in.

You never know.

Before that, I got quoted and it was $500, at a body shop in my town.

 

to be honest i didnt even notice the dent when i first glanced at the pictures

 

just use a heat gun, dont get the bumper 2 hot, just enough so you can take the crease out

 

yea in person it shows but i used the pops it out thing and it worked a lil bit.
i just gta do it a few more times so that it comes it fully

 

move over and make room for rover? lol sry 1st thing that came to mind.

 

usually body shop will remove dents, even like that for $25
