badge cover keyhole?

badge cover keyhole?

should i use the chevy badge to cover the keyohle in the trunk i made a quick pic on paint but it will be painted black to match the trunk

I dont think it will fit right considering the keyhole isn't flat...I know it isnt raised much but i think its enough to cause issues getting it to be flush..

that's not a bad idea. i'd go with it. bumblebee makes a good point. make a how to if you do. what i was thinking of doing is taking the lock out of the trunk and covering the lock with black vinyl and then placing the lock back in the lid.

The doulbe sided tape should remove the need to carve out the back of the badge, as long as the ky hole isnt too sunk in or too poped out, i dont remeber

yeppers
cut a circle in the doublesided foam tape w/ a hole in the center (behind the bowtie emblem) to accomodate for the keyhole difference
