Padlock (Matt) made my retros with TRS' new led halo rings, and they look whole, and they're really bright.

oo ok. i mean i kinda like it just becuz its a lot less common. seems like every new german car nowadays has halos and way more cobalts have halos than LED rings

all i'm saying is i bought some halos off ebay to do my foglights and they failed horribly

ur gonna be pissed when you get ur lights in and only one halo works then none of them do

For the most part, its all just LED's behind or guided thru clear light pipes with a texture on the backside. The slim plastic thats textured on the backside acts as a diffuser and takes away the hot spots so the newer pipes glow continuous white with no hot spots.

Here's a few disassembled pics of various newer led headlamps. Audi is all I could find disassembled in an exploited view. But use your imagination, regardless of the shape this is how the concept is created industry wide.
