Well I was fed up with my gimp sport cloth so I decided to do a little work...

Interior before was this kind of crap...



So with the help and suggestions of a few others I decided to do a little work... and well I’ll let you decide how it came out...

Didn’t veer too far from stock SS/SC interior... first Victory_red_SS hooked me up with his seats. Front and rear and gave me a great deal




I also removed the rear head rests.

Next I had to redo the door panels. They were an ugly black cloth before. this is what i came up with...




I also removed the little cup holder things in the inserts and painted them the same black to match the car. The little chipping silver paint was pissing me off.



Next I removed all the silver dash pieces, sanded and painted them victory red along with a clear coat.

Also painted the silver rim around the shift boot victory red.



Put in a Sony HU and bought the black climate controls of a base Balt on ebay for like 30 shipped.



Also painted the SS Emblems.



Talked to BlilBT about his floor mats and he referred me over to GG Bailey.
I kind of copied his SS idea and the momo floor grids but I needed something to protect my new mats since I ripped right through my old ones in a matter of months.




And here's and overview...



all of the colors flow together rather nicely... the flash messed up some of the pics making the red look a little brighter than it is, but its really victory red.

And that pretty much sums up my interior job. Next I will be putting some red LEDs under the dash and rear seats.

Oh also here’s a few pics of my CF Bowties Front and Rear.

 

I like the interior...I thought you were going to stay with the black theme, so the red surprised me! I def like the black A/C controls panel....mine is messed up; something to do with how it was manufactured. It blends in much better! The floor mats look good, but that SS font pisses me off for some reason....no offense, but I would LOVE for it to match the SS font everywhere else...

Is that metal plate attched so it doesn't move?

I like the looks. I especially like what you did about the cheap ass silver at the door contol panels (paint black). I want the metal plate. I have been looking for that. hook me up with that and the carbon fibre SS bow tie. I only need one bow tie for the front.

originally i wanted to stay with an all black theme but the more i tried the more it didnt work out. Victory_red_ss gave me a killer deal on the seats i couldnt refuse thats what kinda started with the red theme.

As for more CF, im not sure what i will do there. i really like the RK sport hood but its hard justifying 850 into a hood plus shipping

there is a guy on this site that used to sell him. i think the thread got locked because he wasnt a supporting vendor. they're a bit pricey if you buy them preassembled because you have to pay for the price of a new bowtie through chevy + the amount for the CF bowtie piece. it was like 90 shipped for both.

i reallly wish they had orange seats to match mine i might just try to find someones black leather. or maybe someone knows of some nice aftermarket ones?

anyway...i LOVE the black/red theme. always loved that combo. looks nice!

God that is amazing, i would love to have that in all blue. If only someone would sell me there SS blue insert seats =)

It's the cheap ----non real leather ----leather seats!!!!!!!! Mine has a spring that pops when I turn hard right!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

thanks for the compliments guys. i have to say myself it looks better in person than it does in the pics, just wierd lighting from the camera over compensating for the darkness. I just ordered my new rims and rotors so within about a week or two i should have some more updates for you

 

Looks good beck. Just curious as to what you did with the other seats. I have an LS with the neutral seats and I want the LT black cloth. I think they are just covers. If you still have them let me know. Thanks
