i think those side strips are held in with clips, so there is a hole behind it. on MOST cars they'll just pull right off, or there is a screw on the side of the door holding in the clip.

either way, you'd need a good body guy to fill it with filler, and then smooth it out. prolly someone that's good with corvettes as the old ones need lots of good filler work to get straight.

He is looking for the OFFSET of the RIM not the size of the tire. it tells us how far the edge of the rim will stick out of the car which is an easy way to explain it. do you know what it was? should be with the invoice or on a box that the rims came in.

do you have any problems now that ur car is lowered? Such as your car vibrating when accelerating or weird noises around turns?
