Best Body Kit out there

What is the best body kit out there for our vehicles that's not made out of shytty fiberglass, I recently bought a AiT racing Zen body kit - full kit from Andys autosports, and received the rear bumper cracked in two placed, and the front bumper/sideskirts damgaged also......I thought it was made out of Polyurethane....but obviously upon arrival it was most indeed fiberglass. I was couldnt be there for delivery so I had it shipped to my uncle, and he signed for it without inspectings so now I'm screwed and trying to file a claim with the shipping company. I don't want to make the same mistake so I think I'm going to go with a duraflex rear bumper I think, because it seems like there almost indestructible in a sense they can be thrown off a building and not crack or be bent with cracking. So any feedback is appreciated....thanks

Oh and I like the stock body, but just looking for something alittle more sexier

What's the name of the company that makes the kit? And do you have more pictures than that?

Amount of money/time spent? Is it polyurethane or fiberglass?

I got the zen kit from carbodykitstore.com and had the same issues. Its a good thing I have experience with fiberglass or I would have been screwed. I ave it installed now on the balt. I have to quit bein lazy and get some pics to post on here.

I need your advice man lol cause it looks like I'm screwed with the shipping company not paying for the damages. How many hours did you put into it, and what was wrong with your kit?

answers for the kit!

-ITs kida custom made.
-I made it from the RK Sport lip kit for the LS/LT cobalts. we had to cut it up and reshape it to make it fit the SS bumpers.
-Yes it is flared out around the wheels. when i molded it in i flipped it out too look wider, and have a better stace
-its polyurthane, and there is a poly flexy glue/mold that we used to mold it.
-there was alot of sanding and remoldig to make this kit work and be flush with the stock bumper.

i am interested in the GSXR you speak of NFS......

oh and thanks to all of you for your positive words on my work!

I especially like the black paint job at the bottom arou d the lower grille. But would look better in a flat black. Looks like an mitsu evo. Nice look

Best body kit? Stock. Honestly I don't think there's any need for a body kit on the SS. The one posted earlier does look good though, nice and simple

Body kist now are being made out of this Material called V viber or Duraflex its Fiverglass but virtually unbreakable. There videos on you tube that show people twisting them and jumping on them and there is no damage done

Honestly, people who call any body kit unbreakable have never driven around in -35 degree temperatures like we have here in Maine.

My wife has a 2003 Eclipse GS which we painted blood red candy, and about a week ago she told me thet she had a hole in her bumper and that she thought someone had hit her.

So I go out and look, and there was a odd shaped hole (about 3 inches in diameter) directly behind the PS rear wheel in the rear fascia. It is a stock bumper, not fiberglass.

She didn't believe me that the tires kicked a rock through the bumper.

"But, the bumpers made out of that 5MPH Flexi stuff!"

"Not at -35 degree's baby. You sit outside all night in -35 degree temps and tell me how flexible you are in the morning"
