I have 3000K HIDs in my fogs, I love the contrast between them and my 8000K headlights.

Halogens are great through cutting through fogs. Yellow will be the best color for functionality. Yellow shows up on the road in bad weather better than white, or especially blue. I run nokya hyper yellows and they're great in bad weather.

Not sure that it would work well on the SS because the foglights are small but on my previous cars I would run 4300k hids in the fogs with yellow overlays, because I hated the golden green color that 3000k can sometimes give off.

Do you know what model number Nokya's work for Cobalts? I have an 09 SS Coupe. Also, has anyone ever run the yellow Luminics? I've heard they are way brighter.

Why would you waste money on increased wattaged halogen bulbs? Most cases they are more expensive than hids and have less than 1/2 the life.

I guess the question is, are you trying to look good, or are you trying to see in bad weather?
