haha, its true. Most 2.2l guys go with the SS body kits.

Unfortunately GM thought that adding these goofy little slits in the front, and having no side/back skirts made it look sportier...

 

not to hate on the performance..

but i thought i was the only one who hates the way evos look

 

theyre nice looking, but not sports car looking. Honestly the whole back end of the evo looks like ass in my opinion. The X looks good except for its goofy hood. The first model year evo X looks best in my opinion.

 

Agree! Calibers suck. My uncle had one for awhile before realizing it was horrible. He got a deal on it for being an employee of Chrysler but after a couple months traded it for a RAM. CVT transmission FTL.

 

ROFL. You must be blind if u think this. The CSRT is a much nicer looking and 100000000x better than any 2.2l.


And who said I own a CSRT? Last I checked I have a silver evo IX in the parking lot.

Getrag 6 speed and stock internals that laugh at over 570 whp. Yea, those CSRT4's sure are junk.

 

Jesus Christ why must EVERY thread you enter turn into something about your cars? And face it, a lot of people would rather rock a base model cobalt than a caliber, SRT or not that thing is ******* hideous.

 

b faulk 75 has one of the cleanest cars on the site.

 

My old 2.2 was the best looking/ fastest 2.2 to date. lol.

tranny and engine AWESOME but put it in something else

 

I wish they would have made the dodge demon concept. That was supposed to have the same powerplant.

 

No i'm not blind i hate the looks of a caliber, it's a goofy looking stationwagon, dodge should have stuck with the neon...
Personal preference is just that, personal preference. you jumped in this thread and said there were "NO GOOD LOOKING 2.2L's", well i think there are NO GOOD LOOKING CALIBERS...

I looked in your gallery and saw where you had a bazzilion pictures of your caliber, so i figured you owned a caliber...

This is not an attack on you or your cars, i just didn't like your comment and disagree, there are alot of nice looking 2.2L cobalts...

It's called trolling. I love to do it but when you get all argumentative about your own cars and which of your cars is better than someone else's, it seems like you get pretty serious. Haha

 

It's all good, i just feel the need to stick up for the 2.2's since i have one myself...

Back to what this thread is really about, this in my opinion is the best 2.2L on the site without an ss front bumper.

I wish I had the time/money/knowledge to accomplish something like that. It will probably take me 10 years to get my car to that level...if I even keep it that long. Serious serious respect for him.

I'm getting to the point where I like the looks of my two-two. Gettin some rims in a few days...lowering it around Xmas time then painting the wheels and calipers and I'll be set for a while. Not worthy of pic space in this thread yet.

I also really like what NaturalNoobie did with the lower grills. I may have to cut mine out and put black mesh in
