Getting my tint done on Friday and I cant decide what % to get. Im pretty sure the darkest you can go in Ohio is 50% but I am also fairly certain that only appplies to the 2 side windows (I have a coupe). Should I just go 50% all around or go as dark as possible on the windows that i can? ANyone have any pictures of what it looks like when you have 2 different % tints on the car? Thanks. Btw i have a 2008 yellow ss.

 

Get 20% all around. It's not retardedly dark, but looks pretty sick. 50% will be preeeeetty light.
IMO 5% is too dark for driving at night, but I have no problem at all seeing with 20%

 

Depends on what the laws are I guess, I'd say go as dark as you can and find a tint place that'll give you ticket insurance. I have "dark" which translates to like 12%. I've already gotten 2 tickets for it lol.

if your worried about getting pulled over do 35 all around... even windshield... if not do 35 front 2 15 rears

I got 35% on the two front's and 5% on the back three. It looks good!!

ive got 20% all the way around nit ive got acouple cops that are friends so they sign off on my tickets if i need them to

 

Might try to go 40% on the passenger side. 50% just seems so light.

 

i got 5% all around and have yet to be bothered buy the cops if you dont drive like an idiot you should be ok it is a little hard to see out of them at night tho but it looks the best

 

20% is dark, but not too dark where you will get pulled over for, 35% is pretty safe too

 

i gots 20% all around. i wanted to go a little darker maybe 15% but not 1 shop anywhere near where i live or work carries 15%. im def happy with 20%. its dark but not too dark, and night time driving is still good.

 

mine is whatever the factory tint is +30% all the way around

12% is nothing go 5%..thas wat i have and i love it, im getting my windshield done when summer rolls around and doing that 35%..ive never been stopped for tint but also have cop hook ups though

Well, I just got mine done last week. They didn't give me a specific percentage, but if I had to guess, I would say 5% in back and 35% up front. I love it. I've driven cars with much darker, but I like this. I also drive a lot at night, and it hasn't given me any problems.

 

I have 37% in the back and 12% on the small side windows
Im goin to get maybe 50% in the front windows

 

yours look like 20% in the rear and 35 on the front.

Could be, he just called it 'LIMO". It's really dark in the back seat now. So, whatever it is, I like it. ha ha

 

Ended up getting legal tint- 50% up front, 35% in rear and back. Ill take pics tomorrow before work probably. Looks good though.
