I know someone on here with a 2.4 SS who put a boost gauge in for the vac but honestly I find it a waste and just prone to getting laughed at cause it's not F/I, and that gauge is pretty much only for F/I.

But just a suggestion, CC08. I don't think your interior works. However, I think that if you swap your seats out for black leather seats with the same blue trim, then it will all flow together. It just doesn't work with the light gray.

 

The pod looks nice, needs some colormatching. I ******* hate the grey interior btw, if I keep my car later on I'll probably swap it.

 

dude.. is there any cars that you think are rice?.. Because to me and well everyone i know a triple gauge pod just makes ur interior look so ricey .. theres no reason to have those gauges .. If we needed them they would have put them in the car stock, and you have like nothing at all performancely that could ever affect any of that **** so why waste ur money on it? I just wanna know why.

 

If there's a REASON for having 3 gauges (other than looks as CC08 says) then it isn't rice. Boost gauge + A/F I think would be fine (aka 2 gauges, not 3). The reason we put in A/F gauges is for tuning. The car didn't come with it from factory because it was already tuned

BTW CC08, your gauges look like poo poo. There's no reason for your car to have them. You probably wouldn't even know what the numbers mean anyway. The pillar came out good, though and props to Mulk on the work.

 

Whether or not anyone agrees with his other interior choices...there's nothing wrong (or rice) with having water temp, oil pressure, and voltmeter guages for ANY car....

 

that's the point i been trying to get across Also as far as "pointless" i can call ANY performance mod to my car waste of money or pointless cause theres no reason for me to have any on a DD that I don't even drive much or anywhere far really. That's why I didn't want to do a lot of things but all of you keep insisting and forcing me. That's why there's so little on my performance list in my sig that's all i can do that wont be pointless. Anything else is.

 

I'm still with you on this one as well cc08. Oil pressure and Voltage are two things this vehicle did not come with. While it is not necissary to run these gauges, it's certainly not hurting anything. And you're able to watch oil. press which is a good thing, as well as voltage for your lights ;-)

And, nobody can force you to do anything to your car. If you dont think it's necissary.. then don't do any of it. Don't mod just because people on here tell you to do so.

Is the light grey lower half of the interior stock btw? My 07 2.4 had the entire thing the color of the upper dash and I liked it far better, the SS/SC is the same way.

 

Performance mods aren't pointless if your actually racing your car or something. YOUR performance mods may be pointless since you don't ever do anything with it.

If your car isn't boosted and you throw a boost gauge on it, that's rice. Now, if your car is boosted then props to you
