bigger wheels?

do you guys think that the cobalt SS/SC would look better with 18's or 19's? i like the way that the 18's look but i think that some 19's would look pretty sick too. im not too sure about 20's, might look too big for the cobalt. lemme know what yall think.

I will one of the few but the whole big wheel craze is stupid. 18's are a damn big wheel on a car as small as the Cobalt. Bigger gets you nothing in terms of performance. Like tose idiots I see with 22' onan Escaalde!

how bout 28 's on an H2 seems stupid to me. saw some guy at the bar the other weekend. I actually had to go up and look at the size cause I couldn't even guess they could have been so big on a HUMMER. What a waste.

28's? Probably chrome too, right? Add tires and those probably cost as much as the H2

I would like to go bigger.......but only in width. I want a wider tire so hopefully I could get some more traction.

18" is good enough, anything else I think you are asking for trouble with ride and drivetrain

My bro-in-law works at Discount Tires and their new 2006 catalog has a 05 SS with 20' (along with a couple of other cars). I think it looked real good- only problem would be the tire size...... they would have to be rubber bands to not rub when you hit a bump.

I want to put 19's on my SS.... I'll be much happier with them....And use the 18'' stockers for autocross....

LOL! I want smaller wheels! some nice lightweight 17x8's and put on some nice 235/45/17 on there... more tire=better traction! Less unsprung weight= much more responsive car!
