Billet Grille choice...

Well gentleman, I am trying to settle on a Billet Grille for my car. I'm already gotten all the MRZ polished trim, the TTR polish engine mount, a polished pulley from Nate, and a few other items of bling.

My current issue is deciding on a grille. It has to come in both the upper and lower. I'm looking at both the Carriage Works (style sold by Cobalt Addition) and the Precision - Classic style.

Anyone got any suggestions to add to the mix? Polished only though, other wise it won't blend with the car.

Is that the Precision one? Looks like it.

I'm also going to get an interior trim kit. Right now I'm down to the Brushed Aluminum, Japanese Cherry, Medium Burl, and Dark Mahogany. My first choice was the brushed aluminum, but I think I might be getting a little to much. Thats why I started looking at the real woods. If you want to see them check out www.wooddashexperts.com

Looks good on a black balt, I don't like the chrome bling on any other color. Make your own custom grill and paint it black maybe. There is a how to on this.

that grill looks nice as hell in that pic... its the CA grill

i wouldnt get the vinyl trim kits IMO and def not "wood" personally they look too fake and make the car look cheap... i however do like the idea of painting what you got

I'm not looking at the Vinyl trim kits Emperor. I'm looking at the ones made with real wood or actual brushed aluminum. Just think how it would look if all that fake metal trim was actual brushed aluminum.

And Terry is right, the polished/chrome contrast to the Sport Red is stunning.

ooo... this i like. I was sorta tripping when i thought you were going to do wood vinyl... i thought it didnt sound like something you would decide to do

im thinking about ordering a lil sample now... Real Brushed Aluminum, Real Chrome, Blue & Black CF but im nto sure about the 4th (maybe regular synthetic blue but i doubt i would want that).

I have the carriage works grill.....remember to shop around, you can get it cheaper. I went through Precision Grills for my first set, I had to go through CA for the second lower grill (the first one got stolen).

Get a black one from carriage works... noone has put one on their cars yet. I think the polished billet is just too much bling... the black looks sleek and sophisticated.

Almost any other color car I would go with black. But it just doesn't look as good as the polished with the sport red.

Sweet. Well I've settled on the Precision top & bottom grill. Got it ordered and it should will be installed by the end of the month. That is, after I'm back stateside.

Good choice!

I recommend you take it to a shop; it requires cutting off the stock top grill, and properly fitting the aftermarket one.

Post some pix when you eventualy get it on.

Haha yep. I normally wouldn't even ask for a link, I'd just google it from the start, but I do about 99% of my forum posting from my phone, which can't open multiple pages at once, hence why I asked for the link at first.

Google ftw!
