I love em, getting them as soon as cobalt addiction starts selling them w/ HID is the plan. But there was some mention on them not being good for HID, can't really see why? Anyone, info on this?
What would look awesome is if the plastic where the lights are sealed was painted black as well!

The projectors in those headlamps are nowhere near as good as an OEM projector. There was no research and development gone into them at all. They are cheap plastic no name brand. Those projectors are used in almost all aftermarket projector kits for cars. I actually had one of those projectors in my hand so I dismantled it and even put an HID bulb in it... Looks like crap.
The Halo shroud
The cheap-o projector itself.
Not sure about you guys, but I don't want plastic on my projectors....
And here is a 4300k HID bulb in the projector. The cutoff line isn't flat at all...there is glare above the "line" as well, and the light disappears around the bottom.
I am not saying that these are the exact projectors, but lets get real... for 300 dollars, you aren't going to get awesome HID friendly projectors...

HID bulbs are colder than regular so it's not the heat..

If you read the Cardomain page there, He is waiting for a "Mechanic" to put the bulbs in as he can't read the instructions..
Edit: Because They Were Not Included...
