ok to start off, i already got the retro fits, redoing them my style. just got in 2 stock headlamps(unfortunaly UPS broke one), and i ordered a new retro fit kit since the ones i have curently have issues. now im looking into what color CCFL's i should get for my custom headlights. should i match the white thats comeing with the retros, or go amber if i can find them since what im doing is going to be the park lamps?

heres a picture to show you what im sorta doing, the pen is pointing to where this CCFL ring will go.

Would be pretty sick, would the halos act as a turn signal?

only problem i can see is your projectors out shining you ccfl's. Don't know if it's true or not just when i think about it thats what comes to mind. I am so tempted to try and build some retros but having no experience building them solo im kind of standoffish because i dont want to spend 300+ and them looking like ****

water leaks, and had a short last winter in the control module and i had no headlights for winter. took me 2 weeks to not get a part from buy hids, cause they didnt make that kit anymore. so i ended up hard wireing it all. all i have is low beams, no halos no high beams, it sucks people out here drive with there highbeams on like dumb asses and i cant flash them

You dont wanna use halos as turn signals. They dont like to be flashed that much. Exact same principle as fluorescent bulbs. Use leds if you're gonna do that.

Being different is why I did the halos behind the e46 shroud.

^ you would use a relay for that, how to wire it is beyond me, electrical is my weak point.

I think it would have to follow along the concepts of the type 2 switchback LED's. I'm not sure what is really used in them, so it might be a relay. Hope that gives you a starting point.

so what shrouds are you going with? Remember, you can fit ANY shroud on a mini h1. Or you can even make your own, seen that done many times.
