Here are just a few pics of the LUMINICS PURE BLUE bulbs. I should've taken a pic from the side so that glare wouldn't be in the way. But I get stupid every now & then...

This is with the headlight & fog lights on (no flash)

This is with the flash on...

This is with only the fog lights on (no flash)

This is with the flash on...

not everything I do is rice, speak for yourself

if it bothers you maybe theres a reason why...its not my fault that blue halogen bulbs are imitation HIDs.'

its the truth, theres no bagging about it and it hurts your actual light output but its your car so do as you please.

Nah, I doubt you'll get pulled over for these bulbs. They're not THAT blue.

They're just regular bulbs. So no, you do not need anything HID-related. It should go in just as the stock ones do.

*cough* rice *cough*

Sorry, I had to...

You know the colored light bulbs they have for household lamps? Just think... would you want to light your room with blue tinted lightbulbs to see optimally? Nope... You wouldn't. That is because you can't see as much as your lumens are decreased.

Same thing with these bulbs you have.

hate to seem like i'm repeating some of the posts, but watch your wiring harness carefully...I ran the blues and the hyper whites on my previous car and had to replace the harnesses multiple times, the bulbs just draw way to much wattage and the wiring in most cars can't handle it, not fun spending all that money to replace harnesses just to use a cheap set of white or blue headlights

I bought these bulbs to match better with my car, not to see more optimally.

They're still better than stock bulbs anyway, as far as seeing on the road...so, I wouldn't consider them rice.
But if you do, ummm....

don't get me wrong, I think the blues and bright whites look hot, just saying I've had horrible experience with them...I had to replace the wiring on my old car quite a few times before I finally gave up and put regular bulbs in

Thanks for the heads-up. Was it this specific brand you used? Luminics? I don't think the wattage is high enough to cause that with these...

started off with a cheap brand (can't even remember the name) because the guy at the parts shop told me they were the best and he hadn't seen any problems with it...needless to say I will never go back there for advice....I tried the Redline Hyperwhites, didn't last more than 2 days...I believe I tried the Philips (was very disappointed when these were ****, I had faith in that brand up until then), ended up with Sylvania that had no more wattage than stock bulbs but were incredibly bright, just sucked in the rain...keep in mind, this was all done on a Focus, so you could chalk some of the blame up to the fact that it was a Ford...as for my balt...waiting til I can afford HID projectors haha

I think my quote pretty much said it.

Yes, to match better with my car. A nice, clean look with SOME improved lighting. They're a nice, light blue.

You know, this is kinda like how people paint their headlights and REMOVE the orange lenses to look better. No disprespect, but I didn't know that was a crime.

Yeah, I had mines for about four months now...still no problems. Like I said, they aren't very high wattage, so I don't expect them to melt anything.

I can understand why you wouldnt want to change them tho. If that happened to me, I wouldnt want to risk that again...

that's exactly why I had them on the old one...I had a blue car and it looked hot with the blue bulbs in it, plus much better visibility as long as it wasn't raining...it gave the car that certain look, I loved it
