Not to be disrespectful, but it looks too radical IMO. I would try to avoid looking like it came from the Fast and the Furious. Again, just my opinion.

yah, it could use a bit up front, some decent side skirts, that back to that was okay, a bit Japanese minivan extendish, but some ppl like it. just too much, too pointy, I think the cobalt would look better with a flat verticle front, following the original curve, something more european than asian.

damn page 2.... yah, like venoms.. I would buy that if i had a coupe and a couple grand.

imo.

Here is pics of the final proposal after all the suggestions and alterations.

Let me know what everyone thinks. We get our car on Monday or Tuesday and start building then.

Well the front looks a lot better. I think its better that you brought it in and not have it stick way out there. I like how you connected it altogether at the bottom. I think you can have it slightly slanted out but i think its good the way it is. The sides are fine. The rear I would have gone with a sorta hump, half circle cut out for the exhaust.....unless in the pic with the yellow one you are going to have a square fading inward with a half circle cut out and as long as its not too sharp or drastic. The vent thing in the rear is kinda eehh to me but i think you can leave it . All in all I think its pretty good looking.

i agree with the whole make less flashy thing. and the american tuners comment is so true. we arent into the flash from my experience. i personally like the rk sport kit cuz it is clean and simple.

If i seen that kit on a cobalt i would throw tomatos at the owner.

Ok seriously: it doesn't seem you took our advice. The yellow one looks almost the same as the red you 1st proposed, Mind you the lip on the yellow does look much better.
You seem to be forgetting that WE HAVE FOG LIGHTS!. Most people don't want to lose them and your propsed front bumpers don't have a place for them. Yes i realise you can stick them in those side slots, but that isn't going to be a very clean looking install.

The rear of the cobalt coupe is very rounded and curvy. The you stick the squarest looking bumper possible on it. Even the vents or cut-outs in the rear have sharp edges. It just does not flow with the lines of the car. It makes it look tank-like. I guess there is some market for those drastic kits, most of us here are not into that. If you are catering to a different crowd then tell us that and we'll shut up. But you ask our opinions and input we give it to you and then you ignore most of it. I'm just wondering why?

The only reason I'm not getting the RK Sport kit is it doesn't have provisions for the factory fog lights. The Razzi kit does, but it's front end is horrible. I would love a kit like the RK Sport setup with fog light mounts. I'd buy that.

The original equipment fog lights will work with our kit.
