I just got my Cobalt (base model) last week, and for it to be useful I had to put an 1.25" receiver hitch on it. Plan on using it for hauling a bike rack and occasionally a two rail dirtbike trailer. I want to hide the hitch if possible. The whole thing is visible beneath the bumper. I will try to post a picture tomorow if that will help.

 

I think that would have to be a custom body kit.....

But I really want to see a picture.

 

not to be rude but why would you buy a lil econ car like the cobalt if your going to put a hitch and haul a lil trailer? why dont get a small 4 cylinder SUV...?

to answer you question it will, but it wont look good, bc probably you will need to modify (cut a hole) your body kit

 

Ouch I know a kid with a civic that has a hitch on the back and he tows a small boat with it.
