Bowtie Color Pic Request

I hate how the gold bowties look on my black SS/TC.

I like how the black bowties look but am not totally sold. What else have people done with the front bowtie? Anyone try white with a black 'balt? How bout black on the bowtie but paint the surrounding outline white?

Any other ideas are more than welcomed. I am going to debadge the rear bowtie and I think the SS on the front looks clean but isn't for me. Thanks guys.

My Cobalt is silver, but I painted mine all black...I didn't sand the chrome part though and that paint was coming off so mine now looks like ^. It looks OK (better with the chrome than all black), but I'm going to re-do it...either black with silver where it was chrome or vice versa...silver bowtie and black where it was chrome. Probably the latter.

I think white on black would look pretty good, but do you have any color scheme at all for the rest of the car or is everything black?

Mine was painted black when I bought it but had a million rock chips in it so I was lazy and just put black vinyl over the emblem. Looks good - for now.

How much of a texture does that have on it? I'm interested to see how that turns out.

Yeah, the whole thing is black as of now and for a black cobalt, it's lookin lik black with silver outline is the safe choice.
