Bumper LED turn/running light

So I'm trying to figure out if this is physically possible. I want to have led's on my bumper that act as running lights but also turn signals. They would be separate strands. I was wondering if there was a way to wire it so that when you put your turn signal on it would shut off your running light but when you cancelled it, your running light came back on. just like the audi's do it and a couple other models.

find a switchback strip and wire it to the turn signal. itd be one led strip board or whatever you use rather than 2

kinda like this

Audi LED Strip Lights | Switchback LED Bulbs | LED Turn Signal Lights

Or just put switchbacks in your blinkers?
